Welcome to the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) of the University of Toronto. Continuing Education, OISE is pleased to offer professional learning opportunities for internationally educated colleagues.
Our services include additional qualifications programs and a multiplicity of other institutes and programs. We offer practicum placements and assessments held in classrooms across the GTA, to support your growing understanding and expertise within the Ontario educational system.
If you are an Internationally Educated Teacher and have received an official letter from the Ontario College of Teachers detailing requirements for certification and registration, you must attend an orientation meeting session.
Orientation meetings for internationally educated teachers (IETs) are held at regular consistent times across the year. Please download the orientation meeting schedule for meeting dates and further information. Please note that numbers for sessions are kept small to provide individualized service and attention and you must register to attend any of the orientation sessions.
