Module 3 - Instructional Design

 

In this module, we follow a step-by-step process for designing performance-based training that is relevant, efficient, and grounded in adult learning principles. You will practice writing learning objectives based on a task or competency analysis with subject matter experts. You will also practice designing tests for learning objectives. You will compare the benefits of different delivery methods such as job aids, computer-based and classroom, select instructional methods and structure the flow of a course. Finally, you will learn how to validate and evaluate your training design. The Practicum is discussed in detail during this module.
